Architect Home Page Redesign
Architect Magazine, 2020
Winner of Neal Awards Feb 2020: Best Website. The Jesse H. Neal Awards were created in 1955 to recognize and reward editorial excellence in business publications. Known for decades as the “Academy Awards” of B2B media, brands across all business sectors go through two tiers of screening, comprised of over 150 editorial peers, along with a final review. All to be evaluated comparatively among their media peers.
Architect’s website won the “best in class” honor this year. The Grand Neal Award – which celebrates the most outstanding entry from among the winners in all categories.
Project 360 Sponsored Feature Articles
Architect Magazine, 2019
These editorial microsites were part of Hanley Wood’s interactive native advertising package. The sites won multiple design awards for it’s immersive and interactive design. Here are two of several Project 360s I designed and built with another front end developer. Redefining the Green Campus is sponsored by Think Wood and One World Trade Center is sponsored by Owens Corning.
“Featuring videos, photos and interactive graphics and blueprints, Project 360 works to fill the neglected niche within architecture media of creating detailed descriptions of how buildings perform after their reveals. This exploratory website works to create an immersive online experience and offers intimate explorations of unique buildings that one could not obtain through print alone. Using thorough reporting and design in order to create a project that engages readers in a deep and profound way, Project 360 has successfully reached beyond their trade-specific audience and has met mainstream readers who are interested in the industry.”

Artist Portfolio Websites
2017-2020
Simple, easy to use artist portfolio websites are always exciting to me. I love the challenge of creating a website to enhance but not compete with the art being featured. These sites we made using SquareSpace templates with custom CSS. Artists pictured: Celia Gerard, Derrick Whitson, Clare Walker, and Andrea Packard
